ABOUT
Laurels Couture is the inspiration of artist & custom designer Laurel. Born & raised in The Niagara Region, Laurel began designing when she was young, creating clothes & accessories for her dolls. By 10, she was repurposing vintage items into unique wear, combining old with new. Environmentally-friendly fabrics & production methods have always been important to Laurel. Original couture & accessories, are machine-stitched & hand-sewn. Custom talismans are Laurel's healing specialty & personalized requests are welcome. Trained in fine & commercial arts & acting, she studied two majors; psychology and theater, and has worked in both fields. Laurel has taught music & performance, & loves writing.

Mission
To create original products using quality 'upcycled' materials & new, ecologically-friendly fabrics that pose the least harm to the environment, & ensure all living beings do not suffer abuse or indignities in the manufacturing process.
